Garagiste Wine Room | Merchant began as an idea born of the mutual passion for wine of its two founders, Mario Enriquez and Eric Prato. The goal of Garagiste Wine Room | Merchant is to be a leader in the evolution and growth of wine culture in Las Vegas. Garagiste Wine Room | Merchant strives to provide world-wine experiences from grower-producers to the classics alike. Guests are invited to enjoy, discuss and immerse themselves in the world of wine as seen through the eyes of professional Sommeliers.
Mario Enriquez & Eric Prato have a combined 25+ years in the food & beverage industry and a combined 10+ years specifically in the fine wine industry with experience in management, administration and operations.
Mario and Eric both retain expertise in fine wines and alcoholic beverages from around the world. Both are Certified Sommeliers accredited by the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) and both are currently pursuing Advanced Certification through CMS. Mario also holds the Level 3 Advanced in Wine Certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET).
